My daughter came home from school on Fri upset.
She was in her French lesson and the teacher handed out some worksheets, she put her hand up and said that she didn't understand it (she has struggled with this subject since going to secondary - she is in yr 8) the teacher told her just to get on with it, so she said again I don't understand what to do again the teacher told her Get on with it, she wouldn't tell her what to do. So the teacher sent her out of the class.
One of the school bouncers (due to merger of 2 schools into an Academy it didn't set off well and pupils started reacting so they drafted in bouncers to control corridors) walked passed and asked why she was out of class so she told him and he said to go back in to retrieve her bag, books and other stuff, when she went back in the teacher screamed at her to get out.
10 mins later the teacher came out and told her to get her work and as she was walking back to the door the teacher grabbed her arm and started dragging her back into the classroom.
I wasn't in when she came home but her dad was and she looked upset so he asked what was up, it took a while to get it out of her so he advised her to write it all down. When I came in hubby told me so I went to her room to see if she was ok and to ask her to tell me again. I checke her arm to see if there were any marks and thank goodness there wasn't (otherwise a camera would have been use and a call to the police for advice would have followed).
I went to call the school hoping someone would still be there but they were closed. So I called this morning and spoke to her guidence leader who we've met before when she was being bullied by a supply teacher (that soon got sorted out). So we are meeting up on Fri afternoon, the guidence leader is checking out cctv that is installed in the corridor where it had happened but as I told her she was in the classroom when the teacher grabbed her. She is also going to speak to the teacher concerned too to get her side of what happened.
I know my daughter is not an angel and can antagonise people, what kids don't lol, but I draw a line to being physically pulled/dragged/pushed by a person who is there to set an example.
Gosh I think I need a lie down now after this essay...

Thanks Keith...hubby wants to go along aswell and as he finishes work early on a friday, plus if I went in today I would still be raging and I'm a better person than that.
Both hubby and I are involved with teaching youngsters and know how these things work that is why we got her to write down what happened.
the last time we were in the guidence leader couldn't have been any nicer and it is the same one we are seeing on friday.

Update
Daughter came home from school to say that the guidence leader had spoke to her regarding the incident Who.What.Where.When etc, she asked her to write it all down, then asked if there was anyone in her present lesson who was also in the French class when it happened, she told her 3 other pupils who were also asked to write down the events etc.
The teacher in quiestion has also been interviewed. All this was done by 2.30 this afternoon, I called the school at half 9 this morning. Not bad going really, was quite suprised that they were so quick off the mark.
