You could look for her fathers service records which will give you an idea of where he was and when. If he went on to serve in WW1 they will be on the Ancestry website, although bear in mind that lots were destroyed so they may not have survived. If he didn't serve in WW1 then his records (if they have survived) will be at the National Archives. |

Yes I think she is on the 1911 census but I can't find her on the 1901 nor her brothers who would have been alive in 1901. |

I was always told that my Great Grandmother grew up in India as apparently her Father was a British Soldier- I have no proof of this. |
