Going through old papers etc, for tree, I found the date of my granfather's death June 24th 1946, 63 years ago tomorrow... no one left now to mark that date except my brother and I . |

My dad died when I was barely four years old. Recently whilst searching the London Gazette site I found his death announcement placed by his solicitors naming the date of his death, my mum's name and the address at which we lived at the time of his death. It gave me an weird feeling and I printed it of and kept it. |
