I think the Frys one was just 5 bars Broggy, whereas the Cadburys one was a bar with a strawberry shape one and the others had different shapes on the slab of chocolate.........I remember it being Cadburys because that was the chocolate I liked at the time..... my Sis preferred the Frys....

Thanks ALLEN.......glad to know I have not gone doolally then......I can even taste those showboats now....... don't eat anything sweet now......never mind.....

You could be right there Broggy. I just pictured it in the purple foil that was a Cadbury trade mark.

Wasn't that one made by Fry's - and called Five Centres?

They also did an all mint one and an orange one.

Maria xx

edit - I think they also did a plain vanilla type one which was just called Fry's cream bar??

I think this Cadbury's Choc bar was called Five Boys.
Can't stand Waggon Wheels, but don't have much of a sweet tooth any way

YES YES YES........and the reason I am shouting.......how many times have I asked family and friends if they remember this lovely bar of chocolate.......and the answer is always NO......

At last, people who remember the strawberry shape, the lime barrel (my favourite) I think one was coffee and a caramel one.......but it was a long time ago and I only remember my favourites it seems....

Thank you soooo much, I was beginning to thing I had dreamt it.....

ALL I need now, is for someone to remember the showboats......individually wrapped........they were chocolate cup cakes with sponge and cream on the top......lemon strawberry or chocolate with a small sweet.......wrapped in cellophane.......mostly in the 70's I think.....

C'mon Genes boardmembers.......make my day......
