Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu
When someone smiled at me today,I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner and somone saw my grin,
When he smiled I realized i'd passed it onto him!

I thought about that smile and realized its worth,
A single smile, just like mine, could travel round the earth.

So,if you feel a smile begin, dont leave it undetected,
Lets start a epidemic quick, and get the world infected.

Have A Great Day : )

Ingrid I did a course once for work and a psychologist told us to smile at everyone we encountered for the rest of the day and report on the reactions next day. I have to say that the majority of people smiled back but we all reported that we also had stony looks, suspicious looks and one man said that a woman he smiled at asked him who he thought he was leering at lol

Having just finished a bout of chemo in March, I'm still wearing a scarf around the shops and I get smiles from some people and some who just stare. I usually just smile at them.

Ingrid, we're not having much of a winter at my place yet. We've had 28 degrees celsius for the last few days.

Lucky you Alison we have been down to 12 through the day with icy winds in Sydney. I am off to Armidale tomorrow for the weekend so will be cold there even though it is further north .

Hope your health keeps on improving. It's funny the way different people react to chemo recipients. I shaved my head for the Shave for a Cure a few years back so I kind of understand about the looks you get.

Have fun in Armidale, Ingrid. I haven't been there, but have been to Guyra - in January. Don't think I'd go there in winter and I like the cold!

Yes, people think you're a butch sheila when you have the shaved head. Luckily for me, the scarf and the fact I have no eyelashes kind of gives it away that I'm not well!

Have a nice weekend.
