I have just had a reply by e-mail, to an enquiry that I sent to a records office. However, it appears to be in a 'wide screen' format, thus only showing half a line, until I use the sliding bar to see the end of the line. I have tried printing it out, and it does the same. Would someone plase tell me how I can adjust this so I can read and print it out. |

Many thanks Ann in Glos. for that suggestion, but I am not that savvy with the computer. Think I'll e-mail the grandaughter that is savvy, and ask her what to do. She usually sorts those sort of things for me but she is not due to visit for another couple of weeks at least. |

I'm glad I have seen this thread.I have been told how to copy and paste but still can't do it LOL Maybe seeing it in words 'how' I will finally do it.People lose patience with me as I am so hopeless when it comes to trying new things on the computer.I may be told a couple of times how to do something and if I still can't do it I get rolled eyes lol |

Bob - many thanks for your explanation. Using thre same simple terms, would you tell me how to scan to computer. I have a copier/scanner /printer, and know how to scan things. I just do not, and cannot get, the method of how to get it to my computer, so that you can send it on to someone else. I think that is actually two things. Off to do the dinner now, but will be back tomorrow. |

I have successfully managed to do this, by using the suggestion of Mgtwl,to look at the www.wikihow.com/Copy-and-Paste site. It is very simple to use, and I have now got a copy of the e-mail that I wanted. |
