at local theatre. Nothing 'for me' but was actually very impressed by her . No 'misses', no random names thrown out and not accepted... funny and warm and didn't let people tell her details...

Nice lady :)

Hi Rose,

Strange that i should see this thread today as i have just been out to lunch (english hotel btw) and they do physic dinners there with a three course meal and three readings !! have never been to one of these before and I am arranging for a few gal pals and myself to go.

Has anyone been to one and what did they think?

Morning Rose:)

I went with a mate to see Mia Dolan and we felt the same about her. Her books are quite moving too

Uggers (if i can post this lol) I have read something by Mia Dolan , a long while back though (memory is going with age lol).

TJ Higgs has the same initials as my brother and her dad's name is the same also lol, she comes from an area that I had just found some rellies in lol. She reminded me on stage of Catherine Tate as Donna in Dr Who lol, that kind of speech pattern and personality :)

Janet I think TJ is planning something similar from what she said to person in front of me so will look out for that. Might be a better chance of a personal connection in a smaller setting ? :)

My sister recently went to a medium at a neighbour's house and had a private reading. I have never known what to believe but she was able to tape it and she has sent a transcript of the tape, it is quite uncanny. I have to add that the medium had no forewarning of who would be there. There were a lot of names mentioned that he would have had no way of knowing. I found it quite spooky in a way.

Hi Ann, TJ last night was very specific, huge amounts of detail, nothing random about it. She was very fast and knew exactly who she was going to.... names were spot on, passing details, things that only the person coming through and the recipient coulld have known.

I am not by any means a passive believer lol, open minded to individual mediums as have seen a couple who were frankly rubbish.... but she did no 'fuzzy' stuff at all, no random names flung out and not taken. No 'fishing' basically lol

i went to see james tarrot a few weeks ago
i came away in shock nearly everything he told me was true

and i only went for a laugh
i certainly was not laughing when i came out

Hi Joy, I was weighing up the audience before hand :) There were definitely those who had gone 'for a laugh' a girls night out as it were, a few who had been dragged along lol, some I felt, and it was a real physical feeling, were in a lot of pain.... it closed in around me to be honest and i thought I might have to go out.... but somehow it lifted as soon as she started.Even though I know statistically most of those who really wanted someone didn't get a message, there was still a better atmosphere at the end.

I can rarely understand why some have the need or desire to disturb the departed.

Dermot...no one 'disturbed' the departed...if they didn't come no one 'called' them? they were not summoned in any way.... either they wanted to be there or they weren't!

as to the 'need' to contact them..I think there will be some who understand that if someone has crossed over with things said or left unsaid, it might be a relief to know those things were recognised or forgiven?

OK Rambling Rose. My goal in life is to speak to my loved-ones regularly while they (& me) are still alive. The annual Christmas card & then silence for the rest of the year is not my mode of living.

That's my way & I appreciate we are all different. - thank goodness.

Dermot, I quite agree in that it is by far the best thing to let ones loved ones know in THIS life how much you care. As my mother used to say 'give me the flowers now, not at my funeral" :)

But it eases some people's minds to know that A) there is an 'afterlife' and b) that their love whether spoken or unspoken in this world was and still is, a two way thing. Especially perhaps for those who passed suddenly without the chance to say a proper 'goodbye'.

Hi Rose, I saw TJ when she was at a local theatre last year, with a male medium who for the life of me I can't recall the name of, lol, shows how impressive he was. No seriously, he is well known and they were both quite good. I would like to see her work along sometime, will have to look and see if she will be around this way. I think she is an Essex girl?

hope you are ok

Hi Liz, she is from Enfield. She was probably with Colin Fry when you saw her, but from all accounts ( listening to a few people chatting lol) she is much better than him. . Worth going to see if you get a chance i think, I have a feeling she would work better on her own somehow.
