Julie sorry I missed your post, its easily done and not intentional as if people post on my threads I very rarely ignore people unless there is good reason.

Sorry to anyone else I may of missed.

Gail maybe it is but it has loads of 'gizmos' on it and a great camera so is not basic. it is a Samsung G600. Thanks anyway.

Message for Ann.

My OH new phone ( now with daughter as she dropped hers into tub of paint!), had a very limited memory.

If you saved picture, you couldn't save tune! I thought this was because he only wanted a basic phone, as he only really uses it to say when he will be home, whats for dinner?, type messages. He doesn't do texting, lol.

Maybe it is the model of phone that you have, that is causing problems. Just a thought

Tried that Bob but it wasnt having any of it lol

Ann pay as you go phones can still send pics so not sure ehy you cant sorry unless you are trying to send as a text message instead of a mms or picture message.

Linda ive washed my sons phone before now and it worked ok after drying out but mine wouldnt think it depends on the sturdyness of the phone lol

OH has washed his phone twice. we just take it all to bits and put it on the airer on top of the radiator and once it dries out, it has worked fine.

OH and I had new phones, ours were really old but we don't use them a lot, anyway we have the same phones but different provider, daughter has exactly the same phone as me (same colour) so she was able to tell me how to use it Lol!1 Only thing is we can't send photos with it, is that because we are pay as you go do you know? grandson also tried with his Mum's and couldn't send a photo.

sensible idea, although may not work 100% of the times.......
immediately, take out the battery, open up the phone, blow a COOL hair drier over it and let it dry naturally, you have nothing to lose and a phone to gain!!

make sure its as dry as possible before replacing the battery

Last September I got a new phone. Luckily 2 of the youngsters in my office had the same phone so they taught me how to use it.
