Can anyone recommend a good site for looking up Canadian records? I trialled Ancestry.com last year, but didn't continue with the subscription as nearly all of my reles so far have been Scottish and I didn't feel it had much more to offer than scotlandspeople. However, my g aunt, Jean Smith (born 1910 Carriden West Lothian, Scotland) seems to have emmigrated to Canada and married a French Canadian man (reportedly, his name was Le Roux ). I now regret not having looked her up in the ships lists at Ancestry - I haven't got a clue when she went there. So what I am looking for is a site which will give me online access to (French) Canadian marriage records and perhaps census too, if available. Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks, Gill
