millions! I tried to trim the copperbeech hedge here , had to give up...my only hope is that the birds nesting in there eat as many as poss lol...

The Greenfly here are so bad ,we have to eat indoors !!!!!There don't seem to be any ladybirds to eat them.

We have loads of small black ? fruit flies - about the size of a pinhead, no idea where they are coming from, any suggestions please

Yes there are more this year it seems McAnne. I use a light solution of diluted fairy liquid, give em a spray with that, or use a solution in a bucket and wipe them off with a cloth/sponge. Make sure you do this when they are out of the sun as you'll scorch the leaves.

I placed some Fox gloves and poppy plants in one of my beds and the woodlice have been munching away at them so have laid ant powder round the base of the plants. That should sort them!

Anyone else plagued by them this year??

There seems to be far more this year than normal and all my plants are covered in them - my poor viola's in my hanging basket have had nearly all the life sucked out of them in the past week :O(
