my mother used to bake using tablespoons and teaspoons and everything turned out fine, yet when I measured the tablespoons on the scales they were not accurate at all. A flat tablespoon could be a lot less than one you had not levelled off. |

Unless you are a pharmacy technician, there is no need to be that precise. For recipes, as long as the relative quanties are correct, you will be ok. |

Deana, I am about the same. 1oz. is about 25g. I had to goole it last week to convert a recipe. I think I put in something like 'what is 4oz. in grams' |
