IM SCARING MYSELF
HOSPITAL YESTERDAY
SAT ON STAIRS ON MY OWN CRYING
RESULTS WERE NOT WHAT THEY EXPECTED,,BLOOD TESTS SAID THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM
BUT NOT WHERE THEY EXPECTED ITTO BE
BIOPSYS CLEAR SO IM ON A 2 WEEK MAX WAIT FOR C SCAN
SMALL INTESTINES,THIS IS WHERE THE TUMOR IS NOW,
THEY THINK
SO IF IM MORE HORRIBLE THAN USUAL SORRY
NOT SYMPATHY SEEKING KICK UP THE BUM SEEKING,

AND SORRY TO A FEW FRIENDS FOR GIVING THEM HELL

Come on Gwen, you have lots of intestine to spare, the sooner they get that scan done the sooner they can start to get you sorted.

Have just spoken to her on the phone, she is very scared.

I told her that hiding herself away & not posting will not change anything.

There's no point sitting on the stairs crying Gwen... it will not change a thing.

Rant and scream at the unfairness of it...this also will not change a thing but by heck, if you're anything like me, you'll feel a lot better.

If you are booked for a CT scan they still are not sure what the problem is and even when you've had that there will most probably be other scans and tests to go through before a definite diagnosis can be made.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself down and get out there and live.
I know how hard it is but the more you dwell on what might be wrong the worse you will feel.

I've met you several times and know how well you cope with the PD and am quite sure that once you know what you have to face, if you do, you will find an inner strength.

I've always found the waiting is the hardest part of all.

If you need a shoulder to cry on, or someone to talk to who has been there, just get in touch.

Hi Gwen,

Long time no talk, that does not mean that I don't read your threads.

My FIL at the age of 84 had a tumor removed from his intestine and he is doing great.

You are not alone and there is no need to be afraid when you have all of your wonderful friends around you and your family as well.

Scream, shout and jump up and down but face the problem head on.....

You are not alone!!

Haven't spoken to you much but want to add my best wishes for a good result. It seems to me that if they can 'book you in' for up to two weeks, they must have hopes, or they would have whipped you in there immediately - no waiting. That's a good sign, so chin up!
