Did Murray lose?

So true Cassidy, we have invested millions in the sport of tennis and the result has been the same as always. Those who managed to get to Wimbledon, mostly by (arranged) wild cards, departed ingloriously in the first round. What a waste of money.

I don't include Andy Murray in the statement, he would have been as good a player with or without the tennis school training. He has a thing called ability, a rare quality in these islands.

There I've said it, something positive about Murray. Thats a first.

a friend of mine watched it from Nope Hope Hill, she said it was a great atmosphere...........

Roddick played a blinder. If Murray was gonna win, this was the year to have done it with Nadal not playing, but it was not to be.....I hope Roddick goes to win but Federer (THE King) is gonna be so hard to beat.

The ladies final is gonna be a right yawner................I wont be watching..

I'm proud of the lad getting this far :o))))

Hubby is working at wimbledon for the BBC & he saw the match (His high rise platform has the camera man on it)
He rang me straight after the match, and said lots of people left pretty quick when they realised he'd lost :o(((

Today he's watching the Williams sisters play.

I asked him if he was buying some strawberries, he said, " I can only afford one mortgage"

LOL !

As I said - there is a deep silence, only 3 letters on that thread since he lost is a big contrast to the dozens there would have been if he had won....................................................

There is a deep quiet on these pages today regarding tennis. I wonder why? Did he lose?
