I can't get my post accepted, lol.... nowhere near as easy as it was... I must be doing something very wrong... but the whole format has changed since last October... and I have LOADS that needs to go! lol

I tried to get onto it a few weeks ago, but couldn't get access.
Glad it's just NOT ME lol!!

Ours changed a few weeks ago. You have to specify offered/ taken etc first, followed by the item, then the area in brackets.

Don't think they will accept anything if it is not in this format.


That reminds me I have a few things to put on, been having a good clear out.

I am a bit miffed, cos I was a member of a couple of groups... we changed provider (internet) just as I was diagnosed.... so some of our e-mails changed..... then I couldn't remember the passwords etc... it was easier to re-join.

But....... I think that although they have the format prepared for you.... I haven't a clue how to send an e-mail in that format, lol... I think it might be Outlook Explorer or something....

I was always quite specific about the format I used..... no flowery language like I use here, lolol

Vods, how is that grandson of yours... I was thinking of him in particular yesterday... I was at the clinic myself. Fingers still crossed for him, bless him.

ours is ok, local you have to use the message maker or they wont approve, another you just have to type in as normal.

Sticking to the formula given by a previous poster, I am able to post on Freecycle. Had some surplus garden stuff taken this morning.

Hiya Dawnie... I have solved it!! I had to await approval by the moderators... so I now have 6 offers in... and have also replied to a *wanted* request.... de-cluttering starts here, lol...

Daff, have you tried using Gumtree, it's easy to use, and there is a freebie thread so you can get rid of stuff you are happy to give away, also there is a wanted and a Swap thread.

Lol Liz... some of it was from freecycle... the toddler bed and the cot, and the radiator covers which didn't fit any of my radiators, lol...... but the yards and yards and yards of curtain material... well, I shall feel a bit of a wrench letting them go!!

I won't say where I am located, just so I don't get accused of sabotage BUT I heard that our local freecycle mods are 'on the take' under a whole waft of psuedonims koff! On a diff note, I tried to thank someone the other day and the mods refused to accept the posting!

Our Chelmsford group seems to be woking just fine.

I picked up a printer on Tuesday and got rid of a shopping bag, a filing cabinet and four videos today.,
