A hosepipe ban yet this year?
Normally in the UK, 3 hot days on the trot means a ban!

Not yet in Merseyside, probably just a matter of time!

No, not yet....... I feel a bit guilty if I use it, too... so cart the watering can around to all the pots and tubs... not that we have many this year, but they are definitely thirsty!!

Not yet ... but I expect we will.

We have three butts now so that helps a bit.

Strange isn't it? Where have they found all the 'spare' water from?
Have the water companies been forced to mend their own leaks ( which was the most prolific water waste)?

We haven't had one here in Surrey as yet.

Perhaps all these recent storms have filled up the reservoirs.

Not heard of a local ban, although I've not been around lately.

Our water company was I believe, the 1st in the country to have authority to require us all to have water meters. Ours has already been fitted, so hopefully this generally will make a difference to water wastage.
