You had every right to take her in Muffy and to be cautious.........she may have something (we hope..touchwood) totally unrelated to SF...and as a parent, whatever your worries.........you have the right to have her checked over. If you are really p'd off hun, report the doctor to the practise...........

Sounds like he's got a one track mind!
A young child not eating properly for a week is a justified reason for taking her to the docs - it's not as if you took her immediately!
I'd be hacked off too.

...........when I took my daughter to the docs today.

She is displaying no symptoms.......but has felt sick and hasn't been eating properly for nearly a week.......so thought I'd get her checked out.

Not once did I mention swine flu......or even imagined she had it.........so why did the doctor make me feel like a doughnut for bringing her in with UNRELATED symptoms ......?

There ARE cases of it at her school.......but i wasn't suggesting she had it FGS.

So many kids off school ...parents too worried to send them in (not me.......my not ill youngest went in as normal).....

Was a bit hacked off with the doctors atttitude tbh.

Would you be? xx
