I've just heard from my dear friend Jackie that her beloved brother passed away yesterday afternoon.

Many of you may know he has been very ill for some time.

I have already sent her my sincere deepest sympathies, but as she is known by many on Chat and General wanted to let any and all of her friends know the sad news.

Thinking of you and your family Jackie with tears in my eyes and sadness in my heart.

Sandie thank you for this Thread
Thank you so much for all your lovely thoughts on the passing of my Dear Brother Steve.

We have watched him deteriorate for 18 months with this awful disease. It wasn't a pretty sight believe me. But now he is at peace with my other brother and Mum and Dad and no more pain and suffering. R I P Steve

My sister and I were with him when he passed away and we felt priveliged to be there holding his hand.
I have printed all your messages out to show my family
Will catch up with the boards when we get over the funeral etc.

Jackie, my deepest sympathy to you and all Steve's family and friends. it must have been so hard for you to see him so ill and know you could only help by being there for him and spending time with him and I am glad you could be of comfort to him at the end.
May he rest in peace now with your brother and parents, another link in that part of the family chain which in the fullness of time will grow as it was years ago, just elsewhere.

I hope you and your sister will be of comfort to each other.

I know Jackie has thanked everyone for their kind thoughts on this thread , but I'd like to thank you all too.
She is a very dear friend and she still has a lot to go through.
