I feel for you who's marriages are not satisfactory. I have had 54 years of marriage and almost all of the time we have agreed. He does now critisize my cooking of meat , but it isnt the meat that is tough, it is his dentures which he wont have changed! I cant imagine how I would manage without him, or him without me.

Have you thought of treating him the way he treats you?

After far too many years of telling my partner how his behaviour was making me unhappy and jeopardising the relationship I have begun to behave just like him.He is so hurt!

One problem has always been lack of communication and I have not told him why I have changed y behaviour towards him.As he won't communicate and ask me he can carry on being hurt.

Hi Annie, listen if you hadn't chosen him then you might not have your lovely kids so it wasn't all bad, and you can do your own thing now and get things sorted out before the ruby anniversary eh?

Now's your chance to change all that....start afresh tomorrow,be in charge of yourself, take what money you want ,no need to ask permission its yours as well as his.

Swimming sounds good.....you might even get a wolf whistle !!
That would cheer you up...

That's a real shame Annie and I feel for you........BUT you allow your OH to treat you like this. Your happiness is your responsibility. Everytime you let him get away with an insult or the silent treatment you are giving him permission to do it again until you've reached this point.

Been married 38 years.He dont talk to me,dont give me no money,insults by the hundred.Asked me out for a meal tommorow?I am off swimming with friends to cut my weight that he insults me with.He has acutally got the hump as i dont do want he wants.God i wished i knew 38 years ago lol Annie
