Placing a postage stamp bearing the monarch’s head upside down on an envelope is considered as act of treason.

Also, defacing or destroying anything bearing a likeness of the monarch is illegal. This includes burning paper money or tearing a stamp apart

There is a by-law that says you can't put your washing out to dry on a Sunday.

A neighbour once told me not to do this when my brood were small. I said, that if God didn't want me to dry washing on the Sabbeth, then He should send me a week without rain!!

To start you off -
It is still offence today for a hackney cab not to carry a bale of hay in the boot of their carriage!
Would love to see a Police Officer enforce that one......
