I'm not a fan of Chris Moyles, but really enjoyed watching WDYTYA featuring him.

Sad story of his Greatgrandfather, and his grandmother.

I am one of many people that enjoy this prog. I read in one of the daily papers yesterday that the producers of the show had approached Michael Parkinson with a view to featuring him in this latest series.

He was said to have been delighted when the BBC asked if they could research his family tree for the show but warned them that his own research had unearthed nothing of note. "Oh they all say that, but we always find something" he was told. However 6 weeks later they phoned to apologise saying that his story was so boring they had to cancel the whole project! Apparently Mr Parkinson was "gutted"

Nice to hear that not all celebs have possible connections to the 18th century royal family and in fact they are just like us with many Ag Labs and Miners at the foot of our tree!!!!

Yes Chris' grandmother was 1 of 15 children but only 5 survived

I enjoyed Chris Moyles family. They were people who I felt perhaps more of us could relate to. My family being mainly Ag Lab's, and large families with children dying. My grandfather also served in WW1, so that was interesting too.

Chris didn't go to far back but was still interesting all the same.
I thought it was funny, when he thought his surname meant solder but it means bald!!

I found this one quite interesting, both Davinas ancestors were influential people.
