I didn't know that he is a postie, Carole. What a shame after all the effort of his colleague the people made a complaint, he won't be so obliging another time will he?

Some times you get a good chap and other times the postman seems not to care whether you get your mail or not, the luck of the draw I suppose. We used to have a decent chap on our round at my own house, but they moved him and the service went downhill rapidly. Things were damaged or bent and spoiled as they were delivered, I got fed up with complaining about him.

My oh is a post man as some of you know. The man at the office sorting next to him complained one morning this week. He had a special to be delivered before 1pm. The people were out when he went. As he knew to leave a note by the time the home owners would have got it and to the office it would be closed. So he tried with the packet later. They were out still. He tried again before he ended his round still they were out. So he went again in his own time about five . So four times he called at the home, finally leaving a note. Next morning there had been a complaint the packet was late and it was poor service!!

You are a star, the book and newspaper arrived today!

Sometimes you can't knock Royal Mail, yesterday Claire posted me the Colleen Nolan book she beat me to in the auction at Liverpool and the newspaper that I had my ad in for my reliies (didn't get a response sadly) and it was here this morning. Now that is good service.

Thanks so much Claire, I will enjoy reading the book as soon as I finish the one I am on now, nearly at the end so excellent timing. Oh and thanks Patrick lol

With love from the world's worst procrastinator (who once borrowed a book about procrastination from the library, renewed it twice and finally took it back unread!!!)
