Hello Sylvia,

She is a sweet little dog and will make someone a lovely pet.

Very intelligent, and learns quickly.

She quickly overcame her fear of me, with tact, and became less nervous of other men as time passed.

Oh dear Sylvia, I am sorry you have hurt your other leg as well.I find chocolate and alcohol helps :-D

I didn't hear cannibalism mentioned.

A man was tazered after attacking a woman who later died.

The man, aged 38, was tazered during arrest, and also died.

Very sad, it was a homeless hostel.

Hi Sue, Linda and Tec :-)

it's a strange day here ..................

pouring rain most of the night

woke up to rain and wind warnings for today

some heavy rain ......... then the sun came out :-S

rain warning has been removed, but the wind warning is still in effect .............. I think!

Tec .................. I'm glad that the little dog has been adopted so quickly. You obviously did a good job curing her of her fear of men.

Linda ................ I did of course mean "windy" :-D

Glad to ehar that you do not have arthritis in your knee :-D

I was never sent for an xray or scan of my leg and knee earlier this year ................... soft tissue often doesnt' show up

Now, I've done the other leg in ................ I turned over awkwardly in bed on Tuesday night, and pulled the muscle up the back of my thigh, or maybe I pinched a nerve :-(

It's OK if I'm sitting, but not too good when I walk.

I'm treating it with TLC ................... rest, and warm heat

Sue ............ you sound as if you have a lovely little dog with Maisie :-)

Did I just hear correctly???

On the news it was talking about a man who died in Wales today after being tasered by the police. A woman was also dead in the house. It just said that it is believed that the man was arrested during an act of cannibalism

Strange people these Welsh :-0

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 6 Nov 2014 22:16

I hope so too Linda :-0 She is probably snowed under with secretarial work.

I hope I live long enough to be a great grandmother :-D

Tecwyn

It's good that there is no arthritis in the knee. Looks like you will just have to be patient. Not easy when you like to keep busy.

I see our Diane is to be a great grandmother :-0

I can imagine you collapsing in a heap and lying in a darkened room Linda after a trip to Eve's :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 6 Nov 2014 22:02

I know how Milo feels. I love seeing Eve and Esme, but it is so peaceful when I come home

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 6 Nov 2014 22:00

I don't know that Milo will miss the new dog. She is so lively, and not still for a minute, whereas he likes to just sit, or sleep a lot.
I think that she bugs him a bit.

A bit like me being shut up with a manic three year old :-D I'd soon get fed up :-D

It is good that Maisie is easy to train, that's half the battle with a new dog, breaking old unwelcome habits and getting them used to the boundaries you have set.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 6 Nov 2014 21:55

Will Milo miss his companion, Tec? Maybe he'll be relieved to get Sue to himself again :-) I am pleased the little dog is ready to go to a home - I hope she will have a good life.

Maisie is proving quite easy to train. She is walking better on her leash and I can leave the bedroom door open as she knows she is not allowed in there.

Sunny outside but a little chill in the air. We are having such odd weather. All seasons in one day at times.
