Hope that you both enjoyed lunch out today Linda. :-)

It was a beautiful day here too. Sunny, blue sky, but rather cold.

I spent a few hours hacking more off the hedge, using a tree lopper, as I have cut into the wood in order to reduce the height considerably.
Hope I haven't killed it :-(

The decorator hasn't turned up, but as I know he also does outside jobs I expect he was taking advantage of the weather too. Tomorrow is supposed to be very wet, so maybe he will turn up then.

I want to visit the Duchess tomorrow as well.

I did sleep well thank you Tec.

It is a nice sunny day out there, but it will be cold. OH has gone to do a couple of things at the cinema,so I will have a leisurely morning. We are then planning on having a drive out for a spot of lunch, but we haven't thought about where to go yet

I oil Archie with WD40 - he likes it. :-D

I find that Gin & Tonic is a good lubricant .

Archie doesn't drink, which is good, so that he can show me the way home. :-D

Have a good day Sue <3

Try oiling Archie and maybe you won't squeak :-D

Tecwyn Report 4 Nov 2014 22:35

That's rustic and rusty Sue, :-D

Enjoy your day - take care.

Tec :-)

SueMaid Report 4 Nov 2014 22:34

Is that rustic or rusty ;-)

I need to be going - so much to do and so little time :-( :-)

Goodnight friends - sleep well <3 <3

Tecwyn Report 4 Nov 2014 22:26

Well I've gone rustic since living in this backwater.

No good walking about here the very picture of sartorial elegance :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 4 Nov 2014 22:23

Well, I did wonder about your choice of attire :-D :-D

Tecwyn Report 4 Nov 2014 22:18

My name is Wurzel Gummidge Linda - I think :-)

I was also better at essays etc, rather than sitting exams

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 4 Nov 2014 22:14

Do you know your name now????

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 4 Nov 2014 22:14

I just keep out of his way and feed him at appropriate times of day :-D

He doesn't do as well at his exams as he does at his essays, assignments and projects. He gets very nervous.

Tecwyn Report 4 Nov 2014 22:00

My grand daughter is a nervous wreck, and quite "difficult" at exam time, but she always does well.

I hated exams, and my brain would turn to mush, hardly knew what my name was at the top of the page :-D

Lots of tlc from his mummy needed

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 4 Nov 2014 21:55

He's just a bit grumpy and of course holed up in his room most of the day. He's done well with his assignments and projects but he always worries about the exams. I don't envy him either.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Nov 2014 21:51

I take it that you are tip toeing around your son then Sue, and being extra tactful :-D

Poor lad, I don't envy him.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 4 Nov 2014 21:48

Sounds....er.....wonderful Tec :-(

My daughter has rung to say I don't need to pick the children up from the bus-stop today. Much as I love to see them I am quite happy with that. I have some things I want to get done as I have an empty house today.

Our son is in exam mode at the moment :-(

Sue - You don't know what you've missed till you experience a British winter - it's wonderful...........

Freezing to death,
Up to our necks in snow and ice,
Scraping ice off the car before we go anywhere,
Driving through flooded roads,

That's just for starters...........

When are coming to join us :-D
