Well being outside in the tent I should image Sue was somewhat desperate at times while you were away. :-D |

I'm sorry to say that I think Linda was hiding from us Tec :-( I don't know why - we're not demanding at all. |

You are very fortunate Sue to have your climate and not have to bring things indoors, or protect them from frost. |

Not last summer Sue, they were very poor because I didn't plant them up as I normally do with being away all summer |

I have some pansies in a couple of pots on the patio and in the hanging basket just outside the front door. |

We don't get frosts here so I don't have to worry about that. I don't even need to bring any pots indoors. I am on a forum on FB where the members are mostly in America. In the northern states they have to bring in all their succulents and overwinter them with special lamps. They show photos of basements and living areas covered in pot plants. I love my plants but I wouldn't like the overcrowding. |

Because we enjoy mild, if wet, weather here in the winter, the winter flowers seem to do very well. |

How nice to have your daughter and SIL for a whole weekend. Good that they did some odd jobs for you too. |

It's amazing how a pot of flowers brighten up an area. I love Spring flowers but pansies in winter are very heartening. |

It hammered down with rain all night here, and on and off all day today. |

The ones I bought weren't expensive Linda - it was the fully grown specimens. They were beautiful but as Tec said - I would have got the 'look' :-\ |

If Sue is buying such expensive plants she must have won the lottery and not told us :-| |
