Sue your internet is hopeless :-(

LindainHerriotCountry Report 23 Oct 2014 10:59

It is Eve the oldest one we will mainly be looking after, Esme will be there for two days, but at nursery for the other three

Apparently we are going swimming, we usually take her when we go down as it is awkward with Esme so poor Eve doesn't get to go very often. It is indoors of course, before you ask :-D

August and his parents are travelling up from Wellington to Ohakune on the weekend, we will go down to Ohakune on Monday we have the place till the 1st but we may come back before then. We will be staying in one of those holiday places that my daughter and I belong to. She is now a life member like me (I think)
She no longer works for Telecom but is a clever person doing clever things at
http://www.catalyst.net.nz/

I have no idea what she does.. but she loves it.

Esme may already have ideas as to what you and she will be able to get up to Linda..

And I am with Aimee on the homework front, though I used to mostly do mine straight away usually during the next class lesson. I had too many other things to do after school.

Naughty Aimee :-D We are going to London on Sunday to look after Eve next week as it is half term. We will come back on Saturday.I am devising various plans to keep her occupied.

Friday is halloween and we will be there. Last year her father made a fantastic display in the garden, complete with gravestones, spooky music and a smoke machine. Although the house is detached there is only about three feet between them and the house next door. Their front door is on the side of the house, so you have to walk down almost an alley way between the two house walls to get to it.

I have plans to create a mesh of dark green garden twine to act as a ceiling from which we can dangle glittery bats, using torches as uplighters. We will make witches, etc, ghosts etc to put on the walls.

Goodnight Tec <3

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2014 23:12

Well the apple thing was a bit naughty :-D

but hiding her homework was genius, and I don't blame her - I hated it too,

we did enough work in school, I resented taking it home, and so does Aimee - good for her :-D

I'm off to bed now, hope the sun continues to shine - we have awful weather for the rest of the week.

Enjoy your day Sue,
Goodnight,
Tec :-)

The trouble is they get frustrated and then start shouting at her. At that stage she puts on her "I haven't done anything" face. On top of that she took two apples and only had a couple of bites from each one then threw them in the bin and hid her homework so she wouldn't have to do it. Only found out the last one when her mum rang to tell me as Aimee had said she didn't have any homework to do. We did have a laugh :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2014 22:58

Well there you are then - Aimee takes after you, so you can't grumble.

I'm sure her brothers know how to deal with her, especially Drew :-D

maybe they had upset her earlier.

You know what females are like - they never forget, but wait their chance :-D

Goodnight Linda <3

Yes I have felt like that at times Tec :-D. She really had the devil in her - mostly teasing her brothers.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2014 22:50

Maybe Aimee was just feeling like that :-D

Have you never felt like "givem hell" :-D

I have, frequently :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2014 22:47

Goodnight Linda - sleep well,

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 22 Oct 2014 22:47

Yes I've heard of bacon with maple syrup - strange.

I picked the children up from the bus stop yesterday. Aimee gave me a big hug and looked like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. She then became the devil child and was so naughty I sent her to her room for time out :-(

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2014 22:42

In America I've seen people smother their breakfast in maple syrup,

eggs, bacon, sausage, kidney, steak etc,

yuck - yuck - yuck :-0

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 22 Oct 2014 22:39

I don't like overly sweet things, so i will pass on the maple syrup

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2014 22:38

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2014 22:36

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 22 Oct 2014 22:36

The secretary's husband usually does it when the coordinator is away but it seems he doesn't want the job either.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Oct 2014 22:35

I am very proud of you Sue, for standing your ground and refusing to do something you didn't want to do - good for you :-D

let the secretary do it herself.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 22 Oct 2014 22:34

You are so impatient. I did say I would make it but you just couldn't wait :-|

I could do waffles :-D
