I don't think that ladies need to iron creases in their jeans. Somehow it would look wrong - don't know why.

My brother once asked me was I going to die with my tie on - I relied "hopefully" :-D

Well, I am off to bed now, so goodnight Tec. Have a nice day with Maisie Sue

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 15 Oct 2014 23:06

Definitely not :-0. I saw a young couple out shopping in their PJ's the other day. How silly they looked. Thankfully it seems to be a dying trend.

No creases in our jeans either :-\

Naturally, I don't own any tracksuit bottoms or trainers. I don't iron creases in my jeans though

I'm glad to see that you don't own track pants as you call them Sue - and I bet you don't go shopping in your pyjamas either :-D

Yes we are forgiven Linda :-). She is definitely our dog now - she has settled in so comfortably.

OH will wear track pants around the house but he refuses to wear them out including when we pick up the children. I never wear track pants - I don't even own a pair :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Oct 2014 22:55

Actually, I do :-D

but not in my boxers

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 15 Oct 2014 22:53

I bet you even put a crease in your denims as well

I think people took more care about their personal appearance years ago.

Now it seems anything goes.

I often think when I go to town that looking around me I could be in a poor Eastern European country.

I never go out without a tie, except when it's very warm, and my shoes are always polished, and a crease in my trousers.

I know I'm an old foggy, and a dinosaur, but you won't catch me out in track suit bottoms and tacky trainers.

Has Maisie forgiven you for going away yet?

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 15 Oct 2014 22:44

The weather yesterday was so chilly and miserable. I went out for coffee with a friend who I haven't seen for awhile but we both agreed it was too miserable to stay out. Today the sun is shining :-)

We must have had all yours then Linda, and more to come tomorrow.
I have a pile of washing to do hoping for a sunny day. Will have to give the tumble dryer a bashing instead :-(

My late MIL was always very smart looking. She would wear very smart skirts and blouses with matching shoes and handbags.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Oct 2014 22:33

Disgusting wasn't it :-0

But Nain was a snazzy dresser in her day, smart suits, stockings with a seam up the back, high heels, matching gloves, shoes, and hand bag all year round. :-D

Hello friends :-)

I am so sorry the Duchess isn't well Tec - what a worry for you :-(. I well remember the two of you being in hospital together last year.

Hope all goes well for your OH tomorrow, Sylvia.

Did you have a restful day today Linda?

I wonder why they thought having a dead animal hanging round your neck was the height of fashion :-S

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 15 Oct 2014 22:28

You are probably right Linda :-D
My Nain had a responsible hat that she wore to chapel every Sunday.

A little black pill box hat with a veil, that she wore to chapel on a Sunday.
It looked good with her fox fur collar, that terrified me with its eyes :-D

She didn't do frivolous - ever :-D
