I think the new anti inflammatory tablets the doctor gave me have helped a lot. It still aches behind my knee where the original pain was. It had also been very painful on the front of my knee, but this afternoon, there was a cross between a click and a pop and that pain has disappeared and I can suddenly bend my knee much easier. It is as if something has clicked back into place.

I suddenly realised that I was walking upstairs normally instead of having to put both feet on each step. I will be careful though and continue to sit with my leg up as much as possible

Hello Linda - how is your knee?

LindainHerriotCountry Report 11 Oct 2014 22:38

There was an article about it on the BB C news website today, they are trying to bring in something similar here. There are demonstrations being organised all over Europe

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 11 Oct 2014 22:28

I was only joking :-) I really can't imagine you being part of a violent demonstration Huia.

Huia

Huia Report 11 Oct 2014 22:22

I shouldn't be tasered unless I am acting violently, Sue, and I hope my protests will be peaceful and within the law. I just want to educate people about TPPA, and hopefully get more and more people protesting peacefully.

Hello everyone :-) A cold but sunny morning here in Hobart.

My goodness Huia - I hope you don't get tasered and thrown into the back of a police van :-0

Huia Report 11 Oct 2014 22:01

Thank you Sylvia for that info. It just goes to show that we (TPPA protesters) are not just paranoid nut cases. It also shows that the info that was leaked about big business being able to take our govt to a tribunal was correct. Now I can really go to town with my protests. :-D

Hi Sue, and everyone

It's raining today, and quite chilly :-(

Canada signed a Free Trade Agreement with the uS a number of years ago .................... they're just big bullies! If any f their big businesses don't like the way trade is going, they file a complaint with the "complaints court" saying that Canada is doing something illegal, such as offering our companies subsidies.

It then drags through the courts for years.

Now, the Canadian government is working on some sort of FTA with EU ............... but they won't release any information

The Canadian government is also involved in the TPPA, and are keeping secret the draft text the agreement being negotiated, despite the fact that any U.S. congress member can access the document ....... or so the official Opposition says.

Apparently it is all being discussed in the US Congress!

Tecwyn Report 10 Oct 2014 23:04

No - not whisky,

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 10 Oct 2014 23:01

Huia Report 10 Oct 2014 22:53

Tec, the EU is an excellent example of what will happen to NZ. There are protests being planned for 8 Nov throughout the country, so I am certainly not a lone voice crying in the wilderness.
