Hello jean, I have seen you post many times under the name of Jeniwren, but did not put two and two together.
This was just to say, I thought of you the other day. I knew that the name Oleander was a shrub, had even looked it up on google, and thought how scrappy it was. Lo and behold I was having, literaly, a dash through B & Q the other day, when I saw this shrub in a pot, and just the colour of flowers that would mix into my colour scheme. Nearly had palpitations when I saw it was an Oleander, (had to have extra puffs on the puffer), with this beautiful fuschia/carmine pink flower on. I had to have a minute whilst I thought about the Arnull family and everything they meant and stood for. The plant, incidently was £12.99, which is a little hot for my blood. Maybe another week, to have as a rememberence of them. Just thought I would share this with you
Take care now

Oleanders Julia come in several colours, shades of pink and white among others, they flower profusely in Tenerife.

Wonder what happened to Oleander who used to be on here??

Sorry to interrupt.

Sorry all, had to nip out for a couple of hours. OH was going somewhere and asked if I wanted to go. Could not resist the temptation.
It was that particular shade of pink that caught my eye, as it fits in with my garden colour scheme. I have been pondering where I could put such a plant, and have decided to buy a very large terracotta pot and have it stand on the patio. I can always find a spot somewhere.
Ann in Glos. - I can't remember anyone on here called Oleander, must have been before I joined.
Jeniwren - I only saw them in the pinky colour.
Best Wishes to you all
