Well I do have a problem with people in high office holding down second jobs, even if only takes allegedly 1 hour on a Saturday night to write a column, but that's for another thread. |

Well, I feel that if the newspapers wish to pay him this huge amount of money for the articles he writes, he would be a fool not to accept. It doesn't mention that he gives £50,000 of this to charity, but that is neither here nor there. I know you are not overly fond of Boris, Jeanie, and he certainly puts his foot in it more times than not, PLUS he has a terrible haicut! but, in my opinion, anyone is better than Ken Livingstone. BC XX. . |

He's not the only one. I've jsut been reading about newsreader Kate Garraway, who has just refused to take a £70,000 a year pay cut. She's on £280,000 a year FGS, can't she manage on only £210,000? |

.............................................................Boris Johnson, the elected Mayor of London, has described the £250,000 salary from his second job as a columnist for the Daily Telegraph as chicken feed. |
