that is lovely Brenda. My grandsons will remember their Gt grandparents as my parents were alive until the youngest was 2 for my Mum and 9 for my Dad. I have a photo of me with my Gt grandmother but unfortunately I don't remember her, i was 7 at the time and it is strange that I don't remember as I remember lots of things from when I was younger.

There may be some of you(especially younger members)who can remember even one of their g.grandparents.
What brought this to mind was...I rang my daughter the other day and a little voice said"hello" I said who is that, and the answer was "me".As my granddaughter has 3 little girls7,5,and almost 3,I knew it would be one of them,so I said is that R*****(the youngest).Yes,she said, who's that.I said great grandma as I always get that title. She then turned round and said....It's grandma's mummy on the phone......I thought it ever so funny.
The eldest child also remembers my mother..her g.g.grandmother who was born when my mum was 90.
What a different world we live in..and all of us delighted when we find out about our great and great greats from our research!
