Yes thanks Ann and I thought the huge arena was great too.

We were seated in middle of top tier,but hung over the stage soo a good view,and with huge screen could see guitar workings close up.

Enjoyed visitng Manchester and managed to do some FH in Leigh as well.

Ooh it's very cool Jean :O) and the band's as strong as ever they were........and like us ..'oldies but goodies' ;O)) they played all the favourites and loads from their Eden cd

Not many groups can say they're as good as the Eagles,they've such a talent,guitar work was fantastic.
They had no warm-up band either just straight on stage and performed 3 hours........I luvem

Did you Ann? interesting! .I was born in Glazebury,was about 2yrs old when we came back to live in Northumberland.
I found the FH. staff at town hall and library really helpful and what lovely folk,one of them has emailed me twice today with snippets she's found.

Yeh, I worked there for about 6 years, until I left to have my daughter ... I don't know the staff there now ... I don't have links with the area ... but lived in nearby Wigan at the time ..... was one of the most interesting jobs I have add :)
