We had it too, a right belter about an hour ago, with rain like stair rods......but it is calm outside now.........20 miles up the M1......

The storm has only just passed here.

Had to switch off for about half hour as kept losing connection as it got closer.

Sun shining now though xx

Late last night, we had a good storm here in Essex.............I got soaked, despite having a brolly.............. Served me right for walking down to the park to watch it. lol :o))

Had another this morning about 10:30.........it was a cracker.

Was just a wee bit wet
Have mixture of hot sun and clouds at the moment

It's passed us by now. Didn't get it directly overhead, but I could hear it was pretty bad over where I used to work, about 5 miles away....and one of the girls in the office was terrified of thunder.

I can see blue sky now.

I put my houseplants out on the doorstep for a bit of freshening up in the rain.

Cold and dark here..

Oooo blimey, there's another one coming already. This one sounds worse, the rolls of thunder in the distance are very close together.

Last night we had a terrific storm, loads of thunder and lightning, dog cowering under stairs...tsk tsk...bring on the winter! lol BC XX

Well I've unplugged and running on battery now, it's still rumbling round and gone really dark here. (Does that mean I'm also on the dark side? lol)

We had storms last night, not as bad today, but some seriously black clouds are on their way........just in time for the school run as usual *looks for brolly*
