When I remember I'm Ms.

I go by Ms , because when I married I never took my husband's name, preferred to keep my own name and, therefore, never changed any documentation.
I'm not offended if people call me Mrs ....... as most do at my hubby's place of work, for example, it's a natural assumption and I accept that.

uzzi my daughter is allergic to gold to ..

mine is other problems .. had my first one stolen last year .. OH did get me another still dont wear it lol

jgee in summer I don't wear my 'wedding ring' which at the best of times is only an eternity ring. Not because I don't want folks to know I am married but because in summer my fingers puff and I am allergic to gold !!!

I'm a Miss because that's what I am lol .......... altho i ofen get called, or mail addressed Ms or Mrs - but i don't get too precious over it to be honest - what's the point? lol

Julie I think you are right about that now with divorces, living together partners and such it is hard to tell so Ms says it all

But someone told my Mum that Ms stood for Married or Single if someone wasn't sure which one you were cos you ain't said lol

Island I so agree with you and glad that you have mentioned this.
I retain the Ms bit now, but I have always been a Ms/mz as I was in a business that the powers that are had a problem of a single female running the show.

Ah now thats probably why people assume me to be married ..... I changed my surname to that of my partner - but I always say .... one should never assume anything !

LA as I find because my name is different to OH's they call me Ms ( or Mz ) not realising that we are married !

There was a business reason as to why I didn't change and when we sold the business it would have taken too long to get a new passport hence the knock on effect

As you know Uzzi, I am a Ms ..... but I do find that most people 'assume' I am a Mrs because I have a partner !

I am a miss, I would not like to be called Mz .

I'm divorced and living with my partner, so I prefer to go as Ms. I've done Miss, and done Mrs....lol

and they are a Mz because they are not married to their long time partner.
I go by Mz although I am married as I have never taken my husbands name on documents even my Spanish residencia and passport are in my previous name.

What do you go as and why ?
