You could try Friends Reunited or Family Tree Forum but if he hasn't opened the messages sent through GR, I think you just have to be patient, as I have sent messages that haven't been opened for a couple of months.

You father may have 'given up' checking, as it is three years since he left the message - or might no longer be a member of GR, or could have changed his email address. On the other hand, he might have the email, but may not use his computer often.

You might be able to see if there is a tree on Ancestry.com. I have found my own name and names of people I know on World Connect. This is a free site and if you type in your own name, you might find it on someone's tree.

I replyed 3 weeks ago. He left the message 3 years ago. I only found the message 3 weeks ago. I didnt know i was adopted by my dad. So I didnt even know my real name was Melody joy Smith lol.

Have you googled the genealogy sites?
when did you reply, as he may well be on holiday.

I signed up for the free trial on Ancestry, and found a cousin I didn't know I had from Australia.

Does anyone know of any other sites in the uk like gr? My birth father has left a message on here for me , but hasnt opened my reply emails. So i was wondering if he has left any other messages for me on other sites.
