I'm descended from Robert Locking b1772, , of William Locking b1819-1896. His wife was Anne Harrison. Their son, George Locking b1862-1941 (Saltfleet Lincolnshire) my great grandfather, son, George William 1884-1956 my grandfather , my dad David William Locking 1906-1975, Harold H Locking b1887, Albert H 1890-1913, g g uncles. Info found on 1891 census, genesreuinted and through google search, Locking family connection, received emails from very kind people. I've had the most amazing week. George William Locking 21yrs married my late Gran Olive Atkinson 23yrs 12th June 1905 at Parish church - rites of established church (Anglican) county of Kingston Upon Hull Newington England. Have certificate, George William and olive had a son, David William Locking 6.6.1906-1975 Sth Shields Durham, my late father. Have certificate. George William and olive split up,. Rang dads living cousin today and she confirmed that other witness to George William Locking's marriage to my gran olive Atkinson was John Alfred Elsom - her grandfather - as well as Emily Florence, George William Locking's sister.
