Eric the Red sounds good to me. But I would really like to have Mary Seacole in my tree.
She is not as well know as she should be, so if you haven't heard of her Google, (or do as I do and Yahoo!)

just googled mary seacole, what a wonderful lady she sounds, obviously a heart of gold and must have touched so many peoples hearts. Another great person I've thought of is Darwin. It would be good to think that theres brains in my tree somewhere

Hi Blackrose,
so pleased that you googled Mary Seacole. A great lady worthy of recognition. I hadn't heard of her till about five or six years ago.
She was highly regarded by those (many) whos lives she touched.
A brave, determined and warm-hearted lady. She made a difference to many, many soldiers.
