Have just moved house and there is a lovely orange coloured rose in the garden but its in a pot that is too small for it when is the best time for me to move it without killing it? Does anyone know best time to move a rose? Thanks |

I'm no expert but to be honest, I'd have no qualms about moving it now - weather is far from dry - dig a large hole, fill it with water, pop it in, cover over and water again - repeat the watering for a few days if necessary |

you should really wait until it has flowered unless you can move the whole lot of the soil without disturbing the roots. |

Are the roots coming out of the bottom of the pot? If they are, it'll be better for it to move it... but be prepared to lose flowers for this year!! |
