hubby done a bikeathon today for leukemia research

It's great to see all these worthy efforts but I do worry about bikeathons and such as there have been lots of accidents with people training and so on, so I hope all the cyclists stay safe and get lots of money for their causes.

Vicky, flippin heck, Arthur's Seat, I struggled to walk up there in 2000, not sure I could do it now but cycling? Phew!

Julie Ann, please pm me with a way that I can send hubby some pennies.... some people here know that I am in remission from Acute Myeloid Leukemia.... I have had my life saved by people who donate (and who give blood!!),,, I just sooooo lurve your hubby!!!

Well done to your hubby, and anyone else doing any kind of fundraising for charity.

A guy in Edinburgh was doing a 24hr bikeathon up and down Arthurs Seat the other day, and anyone who had been to Edinburgh, will know that's no mean feat.

he did it in 2hours 15 mins, quicker than expected, started at royal hospital chelsea
it was the 13th bikeathon, and his 1st
i am pleased for him that he did so well ,
