....My daughter Gemma has managed to secured her apprenticeship.

As a lone(deserted) parent, she did not want to rely on benefits.

Our local authority's(North Lanarkshires working) get back to work program, helped Gemma secure a job. She has now been given an Outstanding Achievement Award.

I am so proud of her! She has passed her entry exam to the WRNS.On the day, she was the only female to pass.

But, having met Mister right!??she chose to say no to the Navy.

Same Mister right who has left her with 2 kiddies to bring up, alone!

As I said before, I am so proud of how my daughter has done, and how that she has provided for her children.

Love you Gemma!

Gail... and so you should be :)

Well done Gemma for being a strong independent woman which I should imagine is very, very hard for a single parent.

Thanks Jean and Jac.

It is good to know that others appreciate what Gemma Is doing. Her boss, unknown, to me , at the time to me,was singing her praises!

He then found out my maiden name, and said that you are from a good family.I went to school with your mum.

I have spoken to him since, and he is amazed how well she is doing. All of the tradesmen that she works with say that she is a natural.

Again, I am so proud of her.

Dear LanarkshireLassie

Hello,

Your daughter Gemma has done very, very well.

Mr Right was Mr Wrong at that time. Best rid.

In the future, usually when least expected, Mr Right who really is right
comes along.

As for now, she has is doing the most difficult job of all raising her children and doing a job.

Gemma has guts. She must get them from you.

Very best wishes to you and your family.
xx
