transfering info

Lots of times I see people transfering info from a site such as Ancestry straight onto a post like this. As i`m not very computer literate can someone please put me out of my ignorance and tell me how to do it. |

Its called copy and paste, so you lift the info from ancestry or wherever, and paste it onto the reply box on GR, only practise will do it. |

for example Pieman I hold the left mouse button down , over your post so it is all 'highlighted , then press ctrl key and c key |

To copy, hold the left mouse down, start at the bottom right up to the top , release left mouse, until the piece has changed colour, highlighting,......open the page at the top bar and the box will drop down..... click copy |
