I cant believe a stupid woman came into my sons home tonight and picked up kissed and cuddled my grandson of 11 months.Then told my son her partner has swine flu.I have sinced had a text message to say the stupid woman now thinks her daughter has it.Why are people treating this as a joke? Annie

Unbelievable!!! Let's hope she was not 'hatching' it. You really don't need people like that do you. In our local paper, somebody actually said they had sent their child to school with it because they couldn't afford to take the time off work to look after the child.

chill................Its ok ....

My daughter went to school with it coz our doctor didnt want to speak to me when I thought my other son had it .......so sent daughter then she said I think I got it .....!! we werent given any help at all and the school didnt know when she could go back !!!!!

if the baby has an other health problems then if he/she goes down with it call the GP .....

but please dont worry .....my two got over it in 4 days !.....

We had a woman come in for her dental check-up and happened to mention that her son was at home with swine flu and she was feeling a bit under the weather!!

We have had several people come into our practice with it.
My daughter who works with us has underlying health problems as does another emploees son. We work with lots of old and vulnerable people in a flu hotspot. Why would anyone be so irresponsible?
