You expect to come on here and have a good chat with friends and even a few disagreements here and there but you don't expect to read sleazy threads from a creep who doesn't seem to understand that no-one is interested.

I agree Julia, I just hope he leaves you alone (and everyone else for that matter). Ewwww.

Many thanks Alison. This person had several threads on the go from last Thursday, all of the same genre. Would you believe, he is actually 45. Such an infantile, and filthy mind, and actually has his tree on here. Lets hope he has gone for good.

I agree wholeheartedly.

Cheerio!

I know the one you mean. I saw it and I could see what he meant. That kind of thing is not for this chat board. This is why I felt that he must be either a schoolboy with racing hormones, or if he is older - needs some kind of treatment - or just needs to get out more!

There has to be something wrong with a male who has nothing better to do than make sick remarks to women of all ages via his computer.

Hi Berona,

That's the only thread I reported. I read the title and thought I'd be reading about genealogy successes, only to find it was a sick 'pick-up" thread. To my mind, it was close to harrassment. I think there are sites on the net that are specifically for the purpose he had in mind, not a genealogy chat one. I was disgusted on Julia's behalf. The thread originator seems to have gone for the moment, however.

I seem to have added a post to a lot of threads since Thursday - usually only one post - yet they have all gone. I can't find any of them, and I know I didn't say anything to cause the removal.

We have a couple of people who delight in destroying threads. Why, I don't know, but it's a very juvenile thing to do so maybe when school resumes everywhere, he/she/it will be busy with homework and leave us alone.

No Julia in Derbyshire,

That was me. I found his thread sleazy and disgusting. Hope you don't mind.

No Bob, the original one on Thursday was about Hot Matches. Was there until the middle of this morning. As the author of the other ones has removed them, I wondered if this one had been forgetten until it was resurrected today, and he/she/it wanted to remove all evidence of their weekend's vile and obscene skullduggery

You mean the "Date for a mate?" thread?

I see the thread which I added to this morning, which was resurrected from Thursday, from the author of all the weekend mayhem, has also disappeared.
