Debbie the perfume one is a hoax as far as i know.

Thanks Carol for the warning.

I will just mention about another problem around my way.(nothing to do with fraud)

People are asking if you wont to buy some purfume, they spray it on a tissue so you can smell it. But whatever it is in the bottle it is knocking you out and then they rob you.

It wasn't my hubby that was caught out. It was my friends.

They have now cancelled the master card. Luckily no money was taken out. However there has been a few people phoned with this story ( been in local paper) of a parcel that needs additional payment, I just thought if my friends oh could be caught out, I'd mention it as a warning to others.

when they ring back saying its not the right number

i pretend to be the answer phone telling them
that they have reached the home of the worlds greatest psychic
and i already know who they are and what they want

so could the please replace the receiver and not bother me no more

beware of phone calls asking for your card number to pay the postage on a small packet at the Post Office for you. Also you might be told the address isn't clear.
This is not the PO but a scam that my friends husband has just been caught out on. The Po will always put a note in your letter box, and never phone you.
