Are You An Anorak?

	Be honest! Do you own & wear a real Anorak-shiny material,hood with fake fur,maybe a hint of quilting,many zippy pockets & padding that makes you round??? Or have you moved on to a Parka?"Proper" Walking Jacket or a waterproof fleece?? Is there a retro nightmare in your wardrobe????

	Eeyore........male yes,girlie colours though :)) Budgie........small bird,native of Australia,could be male or female???? lol Parkas are around again but they have faux fur but it's realistic "rabbit" That would make a great thread Island-"Have you got a Weirdo in your Wardrobe" lolol

	I have to admit to wearing a snorkel jacket (blue outer, orange padding, extra long hood wih extra long zip, so you the hood looked like a snorkel, fur around it) in the 1970's. Mind you, I DID live in the Shetlands, and it was one of the few ways you could stop your face being scoured raw by the howling wind and rain! Now my raincoat is a Barbour.

	Hm, hm, I have a bright pink Mountain Walking jacket from the Hawkshead people,in the Lake District, who specialise in those sort of things. However, due to old age and everything that goes with it, have not walked many mountains in recent years. I also bought a dog to go with it, she is not bright pink,and her health is now on a par with mine. Never worn a Parka or an Anorak

	Way back in the 60s/60s I had both anorak and cheesecloth shirts. Now have numerous waterproof walking coats and fleeces for when we walk in the Lake District and here. Ann Glos

	In the 60's I had a babygrow & lots of handknitted horrible cardigans lol. The worst handknitted item I've had-my Godmother made me a poncho,lime green,orange & black.........it was hideous........eeeeyuck!
