I have washed: tissues, banknotes, a lighter (not a problem until it ended up in the tumble-drier), spare change, lottery tickets. I always check my pockets, but sadly my family do not. |

i washed £200 ...driving licence...tissues ... coins .. rubbers ...1/2 packet of crisps .... long time ago ... learnt my lesson ..nothing goes in the washer till i check all pockets now... |

Friend at work washed a 4X£20 notes in her jeans, totally forgot about it and hung washing on the line, then at 3 in the afternoon suddenly jumped up and said Oh No! (or words to that effect!) |
