Teresa, hope you are having a nice time. May I please highjack your thread for a moment to tell Lindy in the Algarve something. Many thanks.
Lindy, I was having a coffee in a different garden centre to where I usually go, abit posher than the normal ones, and thought I would ask if they sold the Protea plant. Lo and behold, the assistant I bekoned over to help me, started to tell me all about the plant, and no, they did not sell it. But, as soon as he started talking, I said to him, and your from South Africa arn't you and yes he was. What a coincidence. Anyway, as I was at the pay desk and having a look around, I spotted the florist section of fresh flowers, and there in bucket of water was a single stem of a pink Protea. I just had to have it, and was happy the pay £4.50 for the single stem. It is lovely, but I do not know how long it will last.
Again, many thanks Teresa

Oh Lindy,

its amazingly beautiful and warm!!

I spoke to my eldest daughter who is at home in Cork and she said the weather has been awful..... Wet and windy to say the least, I know where I would rather be! LOL

Hubby overdid the sun on Wednesday and Thursday and is still recovering. I was a bit worried we would need to visit a doctor at one point but made sure he upped his fluids etc!

For the first time in my life I have a tan!!!!!

love T.x
