My elder daughter had these. I seem to remember that she couldn't eat corn on the cob, or chicken off the bone. I'm sure that there were other things that she couldn't eat, but I can't remember that it affected her particularly. |

My advice would be for him to break his food up not bite straight into it, thats what my son did. And when he first gets them on and each time they are tightened chew sugar free gum to massage the mouth and gums. Steak sandwiches where the pain for my boy couldn't chew straight into them. |

I had lower fixed appliance years ago and ate anything. Chewing gum was a complete no no as it gets tangled up.............takes ages to remove!! |
