Hi Dee.

A fair is a bit like an indoor car boot sale or antiques market. The stalls are manned by Family History Societies, Record Offices, Museums, Local History Societies and many commercial organisations.
from the surrounding area and sometimes from some distance away, they have their databases with them so can do look ups.

Family history traders abound selling just about everything to do with FH, charts, maps, books, postcards, Data CD's, Software, genalogy storage items like folders, binders etc. you name it, if it's to do with FH you can buy it at a fair. For full details and a list of exhibitors here's a link.

On the 15th. August, the West Midlands Family History Society Area Group are holding a large family history fair at Worcester Racecourse, Worcester.
