E bay experiences - good and bad

good (for me) - I sold a 99p plastic battery operated kitchen clock as "retro chic" and it reached £15.99 + p and p.

bad ('cos I was stupid) - the late OH and I were kitting out the delft rack in the study with sauce boats (each to their own!!) - do not, under any circumstances, bid on E bay after a Sunday afternoon at "the club".

A trap we fell into.....

Solid silver sauce boat. Starting bid 99p. closing bid- seriously more than 99p.

It arrived - had we taken any notice of the "doll's house" name of the site - no, we had not. We'd treasure it, if only we could find it.....

I have bought and sold on Ebay since May 2000, saved a fortune and made money on things I no longer have any use for.

In approx 1500 trades only had one biggish problem which took a while to sort out but the seller refunded my money in the end.

Just left that shop I think it is wonderful no bus fares, tired feet or crowded shops.

It is a tad too easy to spend too much though,I only intended to buy one cd, bought two and a book,

Makes you look forward to the post.
