I have a partial seaview accessed by standing by the upstairs window, on tiptoes, on a chair!

Thanks goodness I don't live in England; I might make had to brick the window up.

dontcha just love the Daily Mail ... not !!! if you believe everything you read in there then gawd 'elp ya! doom and gloom merchants and fascist propagandists - only good for the bottom of bird cages imho.

:-)))

of course, the other lot would NEVER create new, unnecessary and unfair taxes ... oooops, almost forgot the council tax there for a minute !!!

Points to remember..............

1)
papers need to sell papers

2)
people need to read/listen/see scandle

Take a newspaper headline

Halve it

Take that half and add a pinch of speculation

half that half, remembering to include the pinch of speculation

what you have left is a half truth.

Muffyxx

Muffyxx Report 27 Jul 2009 12:09

Absolutely right re the papers. Most are not fit to wipe yer wotsit with lol.

Though I believe I've seen this tax mentioned elsewhere a couple of years ago........think it was being discussed on the Daily Politics or Question time......a show like that.......around about the time when there was very public plans to reband the council tax........which were later shelved. xx

It's amazing how many telegraph poles you can put up in an hour & a half-hope I didnt need planning permission.lol

I already pay more Council Tax 'cause I have a street light by my house...I thought it was a wind up but they did a lot of the assessments on the old rateable value.

Just going to start on my wind farm ~~~

Titter ye not, soon they are going to introduce a "Breathometer" every intake of Oxygen will be recorded, and have to be paid for.and every time you exhale you will be charged to clean it.and as for damaging the Ozone layer with gasses, the vegitarians will be paying a fortune.**M**.pmsl.

Goodness Gracious me and Gadzooks (that's for Muffy LOL )

The Daily Mail tells bigger lies than some of the people on GR.
I know you might find that hard to believe but it is the troof.

How people can waste their money buying such trash is beyond me.

Oh I've just remembered it's the start of the silly season:)))
